P Diddy - Come To Me

The man who's had more name changes than your typical Irish pub returns, after being legally banned from referring to himself as Diddy in the United Kingdom. Funny, you'd think a man with that ego would want to be known as anything other than diddy, really...

Come To Me is taken from the forthcoming album Press Play, and features Nicole Scherzinger from Las Vegas girl band brand Pussycat Dolls. The result is exactly what you'd expect - Nicole breathes, pants and seductively begs The Artist Formerly Known As Puff Daddy to come and get to know her better. The millionaire rapper meanwhile chips in with boasts about how much money he has, how successful he is, and how he frankly improbably "makes miracles like I walk on water"

The production is as superb as you'd expect but there's not much of a tune to speak of it - compared to the majestic Led Zeppelin-sampling Come With Me, it rather pales. It'll still be incredibly successful of course, but it would be nice to hear a bit more invention, as this is the sound of Mr Coombs playing it very safe indeed.
