Anybody who's heard Uh Huh Her knows that it's not exactly packed with obvious singles, but You Come Through is a strange choice even by Polly Jean's idiosyncratic standards.

A dark, brooding ballad underscored by an insistent percussion riff, this floats along in an atmospheric manner, but a stronger track such as Shame would have made more sense as a single release.

After the abrasiveness of The Letter, this shows off Harvey's softer side, but those who want to explore the wonderful world of this complex and difficult artist would be best advised to invest in her albums.
