I'm prepared to give up 15 minutes of my life to review Personal Space Invaders for two reasons: they have the best name so far this year and their PR company is called Blurb PR, which is also amusing enough to break the monotony of a long week.

So, are they worth it? Not really, if we're being honest. Average synthy-pop, it's all a bit forgotten 80s, although frontman Wix Durzu does have an interesting voice, low and whispery enough to excite us in the way Tony Hadley once did.

The more you listen, the more you'll hear She Love Like Diamond-era Spandau Ballet in PSI's back to the 80s harmonies. Whether or not this is a good thing is something you're going to have to decide for yourself. They get better with each listen though, you have to give them that.
