You can't beat that old standby of an absolutely basic, heavy bass beat. Pink Grease have a potential monster of a hit with Fever. The faux-camp vocals from Rory - and the occasional squeal - make no sense whatsoever, and it doesn't matter a jot because the sound is what counts. The chorus of "Fever / Baby / This is for real" is going to drive you crazy, but you'll have a big grin on your face.

Shiver, one of the B-sides, is completely different but just as good - a retro prog-rock instrumental with a spoken voice-over by Ki that gives it a Venini feel.

To complete the picture, a song called 2003 will please all Dubbya haters - its chorus of "Texas hangman / Murderer" is particularly resonant - but it isn't in the same league musically. However, with this talent and versatility on show in a single, the album is going to be a cracker.
