This up-and-coming Manchester five piece have already supported The Longcut, The Strokes and Doves whilst being likened to Can and My Bloody Valentine. It's easy to spot the difference though, as this bunch have their own distinct sound. This helps to explain all the industry and media interest they've quite appropriately been getting recently.

The band's second single, this is an instantly likeable jangly little number, with high-pitched voices and a melodic but fiery quality to it. The vocals remind you somewhat of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, only better. There's a really energised feel to the whole thing originating with the band themselves, and it gives the track that indefinable extra something.

In other words, this is a brilliant summery piece of pop. Or should that be post-punk pop? Either way it's a great record, and deserves to raise the guys above the level of all the next-big-thing indie bands that are hovering around the fringes of festivals at the moment. More please.
