Powderfinger have been around for ages, and are quite simply the best thing from Australia since Neighbours. The sheer quality of Love Your Way suggests that it is a genuine shame that they don't enjoy the same kind of UK success as Harold and Co.

Sitting in a niche somewhere between Turin Brakes and Screaming Trees, Powderfinger power forth with Love Your Way, a gut-wrenching ballad, complete with the classic combination of acoustic guitar, affected vocal delivery and gritty guitar solo.

Once again, significant commercial success would appear to be beyond these Aussies, but this latest single remains an enjoyable and genuine rock offering. You could do a lot worse for a few quid.
