Rachel Stevens sashays onto the dancefloor to strut her funky stuff with this cover of the Andrea True Connection song.

It works pretty well, although Sophie Ellis Bextor fans will note a striking similarity between the beats of this and Murder On The Dancefloor. The style suits Rachel's coy vocals, by no means the strongest voice on offer but an appealing tone and mood. Things go a bit weird harmonically in the bridge passage, but before long we're back on track for the winning chorus.

Given the inconsistent start she's had to her solo career this is a good release for Rachel, backed with a video to keep her fans interested, to say the least.
