Absolute Affirmation is Radio 4's second offering from the forthcoming second album, Stealing Of A Nation, but what is this actually affirmation of? Have Radio 4 really broken any boundaries or changed their sound since the mildly successful Gotham?

Well, the New York disco pop rock quintet certainly haven't dropped their pop sensibility, nor their ability to splash that with smatterings of disco rock, but Absolute Affirmation (which at times sounds like The Caesars) does sound like a Radio 4 who are coming of age, and they definitely sound more comfortable.

Unfortunately (not for some maybe), the same intensity and eagerness that manifests itself on previous single Eyes Wide Open is still present which at times makes Radio 4 sound as if they are trying to cram too much into a song. Nevertheless, this is affirmation of a thoroughly decent pop rock song.
