You know you can trust us at musicOMH.com, right? We've already chewed up and spat out The Rasmus' debut album Dead Letters and told you that In The Shadows is pretty much the best thing about it, so you don't need me to tell you it's a commendable effort - I will anyway.
The main riff is a corker, a real moment of inspiration, and is bound to bore through your head and stay there a good few weeks. The chorus' rousing and effeminate, "Oh, oh!", however, is likely to bury even deeper and stay even longer, threatening to be thoroughly irritating.
But that's a comparatively minor gripe, and In The Shadows remains a king amongst men in the pop-rock genre - if you have an ounce of integrity, you'll take it over Busted any day. In all likelihood, In The Shadows will hit Number One here as it has done all over Europe. At least it's not The Ketchup Song.
