Art rockers Red Bee Society have created quite a buzz in their native Scotland, and are slowly raising their profile south of the border.

Citing the Velvet Underground and The Flaming Lips amongst their influences, their shows and performance at T in the Park have led to a Radio 1 session and their new single receiving airplay on BBC6.

When We Talk Of Horses is an original, intelligent rock song, complete with abstract lyrics, a cello solo, glockenspiel, and stacked harmonies from lead vocalist Mark Baillie. Also worth checking out is the B-side Passing Boy, a lilting, laid back, more acoustic affair with a melody which sticks in the brain. Red Bee Society are full of promise and a band you might well be hearing a lot more from in the future.
