As much of the dance scene struggles to drag itself out of the doldrums, Positiva continue to pump out anthem after anthem with relative ease. Following chart success for Deep Dish and Eric Prydz's top spot harassing Call On Me, the label's latest offering has been championed by Radio One's Judge Jules and hammered in Ibiza by Roger Sanchez and seems set to follow suit.
That may tell you all you need to know, another faceless dance tune fresh from the white isle destined for cheesy nightclubs across the land, but just in case you want to know: Alright consists of a simple filtered piano hook that builds beneath Ramona Korber's soulful, wailing diva vocals and, in spite of being a slightly more hushed affair than the usual floorfilling fodder, has all the right elements to become another successful club crossover.
That said, you have heard it all before, but the Belgian duo should still spawn another hit for one of dance music's few remaining commercial success stories and possibly gain five minutes of fame standing behind their keyboards on Top of the Pops into the bargain.
