Republic Of Loose have been lurking in the depths of a starved Irish music scene for some time now. A music scene starved of bands that can take a step away from the norm of Irish rock, and yet here they are, presenting their newest offering to our un-expecting record players.
Republic Of Loose have had a difficult time replicating what they have been doing now that they're under the lime light, but taking the funky style their live shows, they have created a great disco rock single in Tell More Lies.
The track should see these hairy Irish guys hit the airwaves with a simplistic format of repetitive lyrics fitting the requirements of cautious radio stations. The lyrics "Tell more lies," in fact, couldn't possibly be used any more in the song, and the more that you actually listen to the single, the more infectious it gets. That's a sure sign of a good pop single, and if Kelis got away with it, the Republic of Loose sure as hell can too.
