With the third single from Bring You Home, Ronan Keating sets out to deliver 'The ultimate wedding song' and, let's face it, the lad knows what he's doing.
There's something so wonderfully unpretentious about Ronan Keating that it cuts through all indie snobbery like a young knife through butter. If your dreams of everything you want to achieve in your life by the age of 25 (or sincerely wish you had) amount to being blissfully happily married in a nice village in Kent-cum-Galloway, with 2.2 kids and a people carrier (or maybe a horse) and the best day out you can imagine is cake-baking day at the church fete, Ronan Keating is exactly what you want.
The man might have been cloned from Daniel O'Donnell's forelock for Heart FM but there are people out there who think that's a good thing and they deserve pop stars too. Why shouldn't he flaunt it as far and wide as he wants? Give me lovely Ronan over The Kooks any day of the week. Honest, decent, drop-dead gorgeous and a voice to die for. I'm not going to apologise to for liking him. Listen and weep.
