Mixing dub and French hip-hop, Saian Supa Crew (named after a Manga character) debut in the UK single market with the low-tempo jangling-guitar-backed beats of Give Praise.
This A-side doesn't really stand out, lacking a great loop or melody - but it takes off temporarily when the deep-voiced French rapping comes in.
More impressive are the two rap-dominated tracks that follow - the fast but still dub-like X Raisons with its ear-catching bassline, and the driving guitar-looped The Beat. The boys should clearly stick closer to the rapping on future A-sides.
