Once I got over the initial shock of the vocoder vocals sounding frighteningly close to something you'd conjure out of a Commodore 64, I tried to listen to Schneider TM's Reality Check with an open mind. That was a mistake. I don't want to use the work quirky, but sorry I have to!
Like a bizarre mix of They Might Be Giants and Air, the song will bring a smile to your face and bounce to your step.
Unfortunately, if you listen to it twice you will realise it is actually bad. Very bad. Check the bargain bins next week.
