It's another one of those can't-quite-see-the-point-of-it limited edition 12" only releases, released seemingly to frustrate potential fans with mere CD players. Happily though, such people haven't missed much with Schneider TM's Frogtoise.

Here is, frankly, a lumpen, tedious track that sounds like a half-finished demo recorded when Billy Corgan happened to be in the same studio. "Sometimes I dream of nothing," as opening lines go, is not the most inspiring thing you'll ever hear.

There's the sort of madcap rhythm track that Matmos do so well, except here it isn't done well at all, underpinning lots of vocals and little else. Even the remixes aren't up to much more than falling out of bed. Save your money.
