With elements of The Kings Of Leon and The Avalanches, SchwaB produce a fuzzy, rock 'n' weird, sample-based blend of raw noise.
Very retro, very hip, Bland Band Boogie is the type of song that if featured
in the latest Levi's advert, would top charts everywhere. In reality, however, it's another slice of
indie dance in a pie that's rapidly turning stale.
The B-side, DJs In A Row, is a contrived mix of stolen beats (Ooh La La by The Wiseboys) and a ripped-off tune (A Little Less Conversation by JXL). Schwab will either need more levels to their sound or ruddy good songs if they ever hope to graduate from the school of background pub noise.
