"When you walk down the street and a man tries to get your business / And the people that you meet want to open you up like Christmas / You gotta wrap your fuzzy in a big red bow / Ain't no sum bitch gonna treat me like a ho / I'm a classy honey kissy huggy lovey dovey ghetto princess."
So says Jake Shears as the Sisters mince their way triumphantly into 2005 with this latest catchy little ditty from the eponymous, world-conquering debut album. Shears' Bee Gees falsetto and Babydaddy's rollicking bass are joined here by breathy Ana Matronic backing vox and the best-placed triangle ping of all time.
From nobodies to heroes with one of the top-selling and best-reviewed albums of the year and a single for Kylie, the Sisters remain several cuts above their poppy peers. Can't wait for the second album.
