It’s got a modern, synthesized and intrinsically bouncy feeling to it, and it’s nice to see that the art of whistling is making a comeback. With the urgent guitar and drums opening launching straight into a jangly piano riff this is as catchy as anything else you’ll hear. It will be filling floors in student unions in the run-up to Christmas, and you can expect to find yourself humming it as well.

With a debut album hitting the shelves in early October, we can only wait with baited breath to see what they present us with. Keep an eye out for this lot over the next twelve months, you’ll be seeing quite a bit of them.
