Ever wondered what would happen if David Bowie was to be remixed into a House format? The Scumfrog, a.k.a. Dutch producer Jesse Houk, obviously did. After remixing The Rolling Stones' We Love You in a similar manner last year, he's back with Loving The Alien.

You can just about hear Bowie's clearly discernable vocal style on the record, but it is of course much less about him than The Sumfrog. It chimes, it moves, it shuffles about doing a funny little dance - and gets you feeling all happy inside.

One wonders who he'll be remixing next - what about The Beatles or Abba? On the evidence presented here, his talent is more than up to the challenge.
