As songwriter in chief, Shaznay Lewis was the great hope of the four ex-All Saints, and she certainly can't be accused of rushing into things. Some three years after the band's demise comes this radio friendly single.
It's a classy, polished pop song with trendy vocoder effects and production gloss present and correct. Shaznay sounds at ease on a solo vocal, and while her voice isn't the strongest it has a sultry middle register, used to perfection here.
This is an assured first single from Lewis, but in future it would be as well to go the way of the K-Gee and Octave mix, which roughs things up to good effect.
