Shena - Electrosexual

Being the good investigative journalist that I am, I thought I would take a peek at Shena's official website to learn more about this character and her new song Electrosexual. The site boasts that with "no fewer than 17 hits to her credit... her biog reads like something out of a movie". Whatever that means. But a cursory glance at these hits reveals... not very much. Hardly any of them,Michael Gray's The Weekend excepted, will be recognizable to all but the most seasoned clubber, though Shena does have the honour of contributing vocals to former Manchester United striker Andy Cole's debut (and, to date, only, praise the Lord) single Outstanding, littering Woolworths bargain bins across the nation, methinks.

Electrosexual, though, is boring stuff. It's dance music by numbers, featuring Shena moaning 'feel me' over a dull, monotonous beat, the odd keyboard flourish and not much else. It's hardly challenging stuff, and even within its own genre its rather lame.

That said, it'll probably be huge.
