Effectively a trailer for their debut album True Skies, Young Again is passionate, emotive even, but ultimately rather characterless stolid Brit-rock of the Ocean Colour Scene variety.

Featuring the two ex-members of The Verve no one remembers (Simon Jones and Simon Tong) The Shining have some of that band's widescreen pretensions but without the drive or musical vision to see it through.

Quite why one noted musical weekly saw fit to describe them as the UK's next great rock'n'roll band can only be guessed at, because there's only word to describe this single - dull.
