Shiny Toy Guns really can do no wrong. They're like the cool kid that joins school half-way through first term only to ensue envy in all their classmates - the classmate in this case being Killers main man Brandon Flowers, amongst others.
As with previous singles Le Disko and You Are The One, Rainy Monday combines flawless electronics aside the soaring refrains of dual vocalists Chad Petree and Carah Faye to produce another towering slice of electro-pop excellence that shows all and sundry just how it should be done.
Subtle, spacious and ridiculously catchy - it's just another indicator as to how criminally overlooked the bands We Are Pilots debut has been since its release last year. Fantastic stuff.
