The Shortwave Set can do no wrong, but of course you already know that. When not remixing songs for Goldfrapp, Moby and Scissor Sisters, or being pals with John Cale and Van Dyke Parks, they make their own, equally sublime and danceable funk-filled electronica that no-one sane could help but nod their head and tap their feet to. And that was even before they teamed up with Danger Mouse.
Now Til '69 is of course plucked from the centre of last year's second album Replica Sun Machine, but there's a very good reason to buy it again anyway: the beautiful and sometimes ethereal additional tracks, of which you get no less than five for the price of your CD single.
If you can find a reason to argue with that, you deserve to be shot.
