Shystie's debut single One Wish was a vicious statement of intent to the rest of the UK hip-hop scene. Add the impact of her impressive album Diamond In The Dirt and the seeds for success were well and truly sown.

As a prelude to Make It Easy Shystie has been on a mini-promotional tour including an appearance at one of Newcastle's most glamorous clubs - and by glamorous I mean a cesspit. Regardless of the venue, Make It Easy was well received - as it has been by the many music channels digital television has to offer.

Helped by its very laid back theme, Make It Easy is a very passive track and the sampling of Burt Bacharach was simply a touch of genius. Unfortunately the promo copy I got sent doesn't include the radio edit, the remixes by MJ Cole and the aggressive Davinche remix that show a potential giant of UK hip-hop is on the rise.
