Silicone Soul are remarkably busy when it comes to singles, this being their third release in a little over three months. Under A Werewolf Moon is a potentially misleading title though - no grisly transformations here, nor things howling in the night.

It is, however, true in its evocation of a night bathed in lunar calm, epitomised by the cool, dappled keyboard sounds driving the track forward. As spacey, nocturnal melodies come out to play the track evolves into yet another example of quality house music from the Glasgow boys - solid and unspectacular but ticking all the right boxes for the dancefloor.

Further encouragement, then, to check out the Staring Into Space album. A tougher remix is on the flipside courtesy of Denmark's Martinez; a less than comfortable take on the original.
