Booking a bunch of lower primates for a wedding reception might appear to be something of a mistake at first glance. First of all they'd probably spend most of the time grooming each other for lice and ticks. Then having set up their rig they'd spend most of the time hanging off the lighting bars shrieking. And that's before you've mentioned the distinct possibility they may well start throwing their own shit at the bride.
On the other hand, you'd only have to pay them peanuts, or more likely bananas. Even better, get the right Simian Mobile Disco, and you'll be guaranteed an evening full of relentless basslines, skronk interruptions, and endlessly danceable beats.
It's The Beat may well be more suited for a blissed out dancefloor than a wedding, but it would easily fill the floor anywhere it was played. Taking Pump Up The Jam as a starting point, and then filtering it through an infinite amount of faxes being loaded by an infinite amount of monkeys, It's The Beat takes any number of genres and compresses them into an effortless dance nugget. Those chimps at typewriters had better hurry up with that Shakespeare they've been working on for all this time; this lot have already written the soundtrack to this summer.
