Canadian punk-poppers Simple Plan seem to fill the void left by Blink 182's split - long shorts, wacky haircuts and tunes that are loud enough to put off your parents but still commercial enough to sing along to.
Crazy shows off the band's more socially aware side, and while it seems wrong to sneer at the laudable motives, it's all pretty dire. A list of what's wrong with society - diet pills, arguing parents, homeless kids - it's spoilt by singer Pierre Bouvier's somewhat whiney vocals. At times you could almost swear it was Harry Enfield's Kevin The Teenager character.
It's catchy enough and the band's target audience of slightly grumpy teenagers will no doubt love it. Anyone over the age of 20 should probably avoid like the plague though.
