Genius. Pure genius. This band have been together barely a year, and on the unsexed evidence of this extremely promising double A-side, victory is surely on the horizon. In fact, it's a stone's throw away in the form of their upcoming debut album Holding On Hopefully.
The quintet conjure up some gorgeous, mystic stuff on Go Back To Bed America, a scathing, political, space opera ballad (surely a first?!). Syrupy weeper One Day My Son sees frontman James Chant again in powerfully stunning form - 5% Morrissey mixed with 15% Jeff Buckley with 80% Chant himself.
It'll be utter sacrilege if these guys don't make the big time. Coldplay, you have been warned...
