Dance Me In has been a regular staple of Sons And Daughter's live routine for some time now and it's the song that most often sticks in the memory for people unfamilar with their output. Now, at long last, it's been released as a single and it sounds absolutely stunning.

A thrilling staccato guitar song opens the song, before Adele Bethal's vocals kick in and the song bursts into life. There's a haunting, sinister quality to the record, as if The Bad Seeds had dumped Nick Cave and installed a Scottish woman with a quickfire vocal technique in his place.

They first came to this writer's attention supporting Franz Ferdinand and it would be more than fitting if Dance Me In became their very own Take Me Out. Their mini-album Love The Cup gave some hints of how good they are, but this is the real deal.
