After the success of their first album it's time for Starsailor to prove they are not resting on their laurels second time around. To that end, this time round they've enlisted the help of legendary producer Phil Spector.

What we get is a pounding drum beat and piano riff. The guitars seem to have taken a back seat compared to their hugely acoustic debut, which is both a positive change, and to be expected with Spector on board.

James Walsh' voice, which you either love or hate, is still unmistakeable, but the lyrics are rather immature in part. With Phil Spector facing murder charges, it will be interesting to see how much he can influence the album. Enjoyable.
