After appearing to lose the plot slightly with the underwhelming Silence Is Easy album, Starsailor are right back on track with the On The Outside album, a record full of muscular, guitar heavy anthems, of which Keep Us Together is a fine example.
Keep Us Together is a huge sounding song, big and epic with a chorus that seems designed to fill stadiums with just one breath. It could sound horrible, but James Walsh throws himself into the song with gusto, and the production is suitably immense, showing Embrace how to really do 'stadium-indie'.
It's debatable whether it really needs to be released as a single - it's the third track to be released from On The Outside, and most fans will already have it on the album after all - but it's a fine song and a great example of the Wigan band's renaissance.
