Stereophonics - Madame Helga (V2)
release date: May 19 2003
Stereophonics - Madame Helga
Madame Helga is the first taster for the new Stereophonics album You Gotta Go There To Come Back, and represents something of a return to the raw, untampered form of their Word Gets Around debut.

The encouraging signs are plenty of distortion, the familiar tobacco-inflected vocals from Kelly Jones and a guitar riff in the chorus that lodges itself firmly in your brain, particularly if you've strayed near the radio in the last couple of weeks.

A surefire hit then, and one that should get the 'Dadrock' police off their backs for a while. Hope the album's as good!
