The Streets - Don't Mug Yourself (679)
release date: October 21 2002
The Streets - Don't Mug Yourself
He didn't get the Mercury Prize, but chirpy mockney chappie Mike Skinner is manically upbeat with this third single from Original Pirate Material.

Less of the serious intonation and sassy beats of club favourite Weak Become Heroes, this track sounds a little like Madness on something they shouldn't be after genetically fusing with Phil Daniels.

Fans of one of the year's most original albums might be interested in this release for the b-sides - the last two singles have provided some real gems. Oi! Oi!
