The Strokes, The Kings of New York cool return with Someday, the final single from their excellent, if slightly overhyped, Is This It album.

By now, you know what you're getting from Julian Casablancas and the boys, and this doesn't fail to disappoint. Three minutes of effortlessly cool, Stooges-like pop, topped off here by a killer bassline and that lazy drawl of a vocal.

Of course, everyone who wants this will have the album by now, and it may pale in comparison to the wonderful Last Nite, but who cares? It's The Strokes. And it's great.
