One of the best bands to emerge this year round the year off by releasing one of the more relaxed tracks from the excellent Young For Eternity album.

The template for most Subways singles so far seems to have been bouncy guitar riffs, supernatural amounts of energy and winsome vocals from Billy Lunn and Charlotte Cooper. No Goodbyes takes a more relaxed approach, being a gently strummed, rather mournful, acoustic melody and yet another chorus that's as catchy as hell.

While it lacks the sheer heart-stopping power of Oh Yeah or With You it does demonstrate another side to the young band, one that bodes well for their long-term future. The most accessible single yet from one of the bands of the year.
