This is Suicide Sports Club's second single from the Electric Mistress album, combining their usual minimal art-electro beats with rap vocals from Duke & Suspect.
The result is a competent but ultimately forgettable track that oozes superficial cool. Like most of their material the actual tune is interesting, but marred by getting people to sing on top of it: While the rap verses are good, the chorus is grating and the vocals seem at odds with what else is going on. The end result sounds a little like Faithless' Maxi Jazz getting lost somewhere in Shoreditch.
Like their last single, The Last Ghost In Town, this is a fair track, but feels a little soulless for my liking and too derivative to be essential.
