It's time for an Indie/House crossover kids! Think a sexier version of David Byrne's vocals on Lazy meeting Gorillaz's Dare.

The Last Ghost In Town seems to have been getting rave reviews on the internet as it's bound to tear up the dance floors of Shoreditch with its Hoxtonite pretentions. It's not a bad track, but a tad repetitive and spoilt by its inane lyrics ("brown" rhymes with "down" several times).

It's all quite danceable so I've got nothing against this track, but I've listened to it about 10 times already and none of it has really stuck in my head. There is something here but I get the feeling this is one of those singles that people will buy just for the remixes (missing from my review copy but snatches on the internet seem to fulfil this single's promise). It's worth seeing what they do next, but I fear this won't win over anyone outside the confines of Brick Lane's bars at the moment.
