What a shame. The fantastic new album Life On Other Planets appears to break new ground and finally give Supergrass their own place in rock-pop history. So why, oh why, did they choose to release the most traditional bland song on the album?

Seen The Light sounds like T-Rex mixed with The Stooges and a dash of Oasis thrown in for bad luck. And it's over-produced, making it sound stifled and stale compared to their recent efforts.

At the same time it is catchy and will make a good radio hit, but it is an unfair representation of a fine album. Having said that it is still ten times better than most of the trash out there.
