Supergrass could accurately be described as veterans these days, which is quite odd considering they're still in their mid-20's. The days of larking about on Chopper bikes and being caught by the fuzz are long behind them now though.

Rush Hour Soul is the third single to be taken from the Life On Other Planets album, and has a definite touch of the Mick Ronsons about it. With a gigantic guitar riff lifted straight from the Hendrix songbook propelling the song along, this is as fine a slice of power pop you'll find anywhere.

While perhaps containing no new surprises, Rush Hour Soul is another fine example of Supergrass' unerring talent to put a smile on your face in less than three minutes.
