Sway Dasafo is a man with undeniable talent. Taking the music industry head on, he's set up his own independent record label to release his music, beat 50 Cent and The Game to win last years Best Hip Hop Artist at the MOBO's and has been lauded as the future of the UK Hip Hop/Grime scenes.

It's fairly easy to see why. The fact is, Sway's lines are witty and insightful, his hooks feel like they came straight out of the 'stuck in your head all day' factory and Little Derek is relaxed enough to turn the ears of anyone who shudders when they think of the abrasive 'in your face' beats of his grime contemporaries such as Dizzee Rascal.

It's a laid back, flowing beat, telling the tale of Sway's rise to prominence in gritty North London: "Little Derek wrote lyrics while the others got high / and he ended up in HMV instead of HMP." It's lines like this that which should make Sway huge this year, and his take on releasing music and gaining support from the ground will earn him loyal support from the back-to-basics MySpace generation.
