Good old TATU. They reappeared on the music scene last year, with a solemn promise to tone down the Lolita lesbian antics and concentrate on the music instead. Now, one rather underperforming album later and here they are on the sleeve of Friend And Foe, gazing coquettishly at Bryan Adams' camera lens while their breasts strain against bondage ropes.

But it's all about the music, lest we forget, and sadly not much has changed here either. Friend Or Foe is a pretty dismal slice of Euro-pop with a dreadfully dated synth backing and some lyrics which nod to the girls', ahem, special relationship. "We used to love one another...are you friend or foe?" they ask, ignoring the fact that we've known for a long time that they're not really lesbians, thus negating their one unique selling point.

Worst of all, it's lacking the great pop hook that made All The Things She Said such a good single, and all indications are that Julia and Lena's 15 minutes are running out fast. Weirdly, it turns out that Friend Or Foe was co-written by Dave Stewart and features Sting on bass. Lose a bet, lads?
