Team Waterpolo - Letting Go

London's Moshi Moshi label have been hot lately with fiery releases from the likes of The Mae-Shi and The Wave Pictures, and here's another gem from the outlandishly-named Team Waterpolo.

The band have been making a name touring with the likes of CSS and The Jing Jang Jang, and Letting Go is kind of Franz Ferdinand mixed with French electro-poppers Air, an anthem of punchy melody and dreamy atmosphere that plays about the head in sunny luxury.

Team Waterpolo sound like chart botherers to me, but they still have a happy and sharp indie edge that makes their music a thrill, and B-side Problematic Girls is like Architecture in Helsinki doing The Beach Boys. It's likely Team Waterpolo will be soundtracking your swimming sessions soon.
