Ching Ching is an odd name for a single, but Terri Walker has chosen to name her new release exactly that. As a title, it warns of a piece of pop pap plastic - and it certainly is that.

It has a catchy, soulful hook, and the corporate radio friendly, chart-driven level, it works.

It's a tune that stays with you, and would certainly get the punters up dancin'. However, the appeal of R&B is often the supreme level of inventive songwriting that makes it special. This single, unfortunately, is not of that ilk. The woman can certainly sing, she just needs to develop better material to showcase her voice.
