Everybody's Talkin' by Harry Nilsson set Midnight Cowboy's soundtrack flying into classic territory and it seems The Boy Least Likely To rather like it. Hugging My Grudge, resplendent with harmonicas, old synth sounds and chilled out vocals, wants terribly to be in just such a film. This is Belle and Sebastian goes to Hollywood.

"I've always been chasing rainbows, staring out of classroom windows, I don't think I'll ever be happy unless I'm unhappy and hugging my grudge..." I've no idea what it's about, but you can sing and shambledance along to it.

Better still, it's backed up by Every Grubby Little Memory, a track not to be found on the excellent debut album The Best Party Ever. It sounds a little like the album's Fur Soft As Fur and makes much fun out of glocks, recorders and banjo. A delight then, from a band that deserve to soundtrack our summer.
