With a recent sold out UK tour, a top 20 hit with their last single Thru The Glass, a support slot with The Killers in Paris and a busy summer festival season ahead, success is slowly becoming tangible for Thirteen Senses.

To capitalise on this surge of public interest, they're releasing The Salt Wound Routine, the fourth taster from their great debut album The Invitation. Unlike their three previous offerings, it's a much more mellow and downbeat affair and not quite as immediate. This is not to say it isn't as good - given a few listens, it'll become clear that it is in fact a highlight of the album.

It's a wonderful, string drenched ballad with a typically breezy piano introduction and heartfelt, spine tingling vocals from front man Will South that all builds up to a melodic and rather beautiful climax. This should be Thirteen Senses' passport to the big time - more sold out shows, evening slots at festivals and perhaps even an appearance on cult TV series The OC. Stranger things have happened.
