Rock version, eh? Does there happen to be a 'good' version lurking around somewhere? It's not easy, considering the competition, but 3 Doors Down has managed to release possibly the worst single of the year. Yep, thanks to the post-grunge motions of Let Me Go Kurt Cobain's corpse has another rotation to do, blandness has a new theme tune and boredom has a new definition.

See, look: bor'edom. noun
1. The condition of being bored.
2. The feeling of being bored.

Synonyms: tedium; monotony; ennui; world-weariness; Nickelback; Staind; Lifehouse; Creed.

If you've heard any of the above bands, you'll know precisely how this goes. Overtly earnest, seemingly meaningful vocals (to anyone who doesn't put them under the intense scrutiny of, you know, listening to them) coupled to plodding soft rock power chords. Oh and, just to re-iterate, it's shit.
