Thrice are another of the emo / whatever-you-want-to-label-it bands who have been signed to a major label recently after having worked for years building up a healthy fanbase on an independent.

All That's Left, taken from the recent The Artist In The Ambulance album, is actually more like pure US punk than anything else. It kicks off with an urgent drumbeat and then explodes into a pleasingly thrashy number complete with a surprisingly harmonic chorus.

This might just appeal to Foo Fighters fans who prefer the spikier side of Grohl & co's output. Definitely worth a listen.
