What indeed. Well, for those under 27 who may well not have heard of him in the first place, Corey Haim provided some of the eye candy for the pre-teen female audience in classic brat pack vampire flick The Lost Boys. The less discerning can easily confuse him with more successful co-star Corey Feldman (Stand By Me, The Goonies) and the pair were two of the highest paid teen stars of the '80s.

After the initial success however, Haim's career fell into the doldrums and he filed for bankruptcy in 1997 and checked into rehab a few years later. He continues to make films - in fact, one is set for release this year, which may yet turn his career around.

And just in case you're wondering what the record sounds like, it's slightly perkier and more produced than previous Thrills singles, with some Curtis Mayfield-style strings and a slightly camp "Oooh!" in the chorus. I'm not exactly blown away by it, but mildly buffeted nonetheless.
